Your First Appointment
At your first appointment, we discuss your wants and needs and determine ifInvisalign applies to your specific case. If so, we will begin the process and prepare you for the next few steps. If not, we will discuss other options to determine what is best for your orthodontic needs.
Digital Impressions
After we determine that Invisalign is right for you, we make a digital 3D impression of your smile. Using the iTero digital scanner, our digital molds are more accurate and detailed than putty molds and show us exactly what work your teeth need. These impressions are also what we send off to design your custom sets of aligners.
Fitting Your First Aligners
We schedule you for your fitting appointment once your aligners are ready, usually only a few weeks after your initial appointment. We check to make sure your first tray fits as it should and walk you through the process of progressing through your aligners.
Follow-Up Appointments
Every few weeks, you come back so we can evaluate how your treatment is progressing and ensure your aligners are moving your teeth as they should.
However, to save you trips to the office, these visits aren’t for fitting your next set of aligners each time you progress. You will already have all of your sets and should be changing them every two weeks on your own. Don’t worry if you feel some discomfort every time you change. Your teeth are just adjusting to the new set.
How Long Does The Treatment Process Take?
